Stratford
Our clients bought this house in it’s original seventies splendor in desperate need of replacing the worn finishes. It became clear a complete interior renovation was in order once a designer was brought in to assist in achieving the family’s project goals. Utilizing the existing square footage and pleasant floorplan we completely gutted the interior and replaced the mechanical systems and finishes in the existing locations. An old farm building was purchased and dismantled to reclaim lumber for the cabinet doors and drawers. Wood flooring was acquired from a basketball court that was being replaced. A large masonry fireplace dividing the kitchen from the living was removed to open up the space and provide for a large island to gather around.
